Happy New Year everyone and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I decided to have a bit of a break after the craft market and think about what I plan to do next. I have lots of ideas floating around in my head and notes in my notebooks, so know I need to make the decision on how I want my work to move forward. Over the next week or two I plan to do lots of drawing and design/inspiration boards which I will document on the blog.
I always place a lot of importance on the 1st January, beleiving what happens today is a glimpse of what the year ahead holds for me, silly I know but I think it good to get thinking about the future and what you want to achive by this time next year. This morning started with a delicious Italian inspired breakfast with foccacia, pancetta, beans, tomatoes and eggs and lots of lovely hot Italian blend coffee, then it was off on a two hour walk with Tess the dog and my husband, along the canal and through the woods, it was a great way to start the New Year. When we got back I had a nice long soak in a hot bubble bath and thought about all the simple things in life that make us so happy and cost hardly anything, like this morning. So no doom and gloom credit crunch this year I’m going to start enjoying more of the simple things and have a great year.
